As a newbie at this, I am trying to increase traffic to my blog by doing different things on it.

One thing that I wanted to try was to write a review of a product, and I have been sent some to look at by SIMPLE.

Well known for producing face creams and beauty products that do not contain any sort of perfume, I was delighted to receive a package from them containing five of their newest items.

They were sent to me some time ago, but it has taken me a while to use them and see the benefits and effects of them on my skin.

So…here goes.

The first item from the pack that I tried was the “Kind To Skin Moisture Boost Hydro Mist” from the KIND TO SKIN RANGE.

The description from SIMPLE is “Our Moisture Boost Hydro Mist is a perfect blend of active ingredients and Lotus Flower goodness to give dehydrated tired and dull skin an instant boost of hydration for naturally dewy skin. The fine mist absorbs instantly into the skin, refreshing and restoring optimum moisture balance and can even be used over make-up. Perfect for even sensitive skin.”

I dont have particularly sensitive skin, but this certainly works on dull and tired skin. I have found that working nights means that I am much more tired than normal, and this obviously effects the way my skin appears…especially in the morning of a late night. One spritz of this, either under or over make-up, and I found that my face not only felt less tight but it also looked a LOT better. It had a glow to it that made my face look fresher, and I found that people noticed too!

The next fab item to play with was the Kind To Skin Moisture Boost Hydro Cream
“Our Moisture Boost Hydro Cream is a perfect blend of active ingredients and Lotus Flower goodness to give dehydrated tired and dull skin a boost of hydration. The light texture absorbs instantly into the skin to rapidly replenish moisture levels and lock moisture for 24 hours. Perfect for even sensitive skin.”

This is lovely to use at night before going to bed, and you can really feel it working once it is on…my skin felt all tingly and warm. I tried to make sure that I had removed all my make up before using it…not a lot of use otherwise, and in the morning my face felt lovely and smooth.

I also had a go at using it before putting my make up on…something that I dont often do because my skin is sometimes greasy and creams make it worse. This however didnt seem to make my face feel slimy and my make up stayed on, which with some creams doesnt happen over the day.

Now this was something that I was excited to use. “Kind To Skin Sun-Kissed Moisture Cream” During the summer, I am out a lot, walking the dog and in the park etc with the boys, so my face takes a tan quite easily and goes nicely brown. However in the winter, when sun is sometimes not an option, my face can look remarkably pale. I have always been nervous of trying this kind of moisturiser because I didnt want to look orange…or as if I had been trying too hard with the coloured face cream!

This cream though is not like that. “When your skin’s happy and clear, you feel healthier and happier too! Our Sun-Kissed Moisture Cream is a perfect blend of vitamin goodness and gentle tanning agents to give daily moisturisation and gradually build a light natural tan. Skin is left looking beautifully sun-kissed without any streaking, orange build up or lasting smell. Perfect for even sensitive skin.”

It goes on nicely, with an even application, and doesnt leave odd marks anywhere. The build up of the colour is not immediate so it isnt obvious that you have been doing anything…people dont stop you in the street and ask if you are ok! and the cream itself still provides the moisture content that you need to keep your face feeling lovely.

I would still recommend that you apply it to the neck area and the outside of your face, as you may get a “tide mark” if you apply it too regularly, but otherwise, I was very impressed with this and will definitely use it again.

Something that I regularly forget to do is to remove my make up at night time. It probably comes down to the fact that I am too lazy to do it when bed is calling, but with this to try I really made an effort, and was pleased that I did.

The Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Remover is very gentle and really does the job. You dont get left with typical panda eyes when taking off your mascara, and it doesnt leave your eyes, or face, feeling uncomfortable in any way. Some make up removers that I have tried before make my eyes sting a bit, but this was really gentle and left no residue at all.

“Smile, it’s Simple. Our Eye Make-up Remover is a perfect blend of active ingredients to effectively remove even waterproof mascara.”

It isnt oily, and didnt leave my face feeling slimy at all, and I really did notice the difference when applying my face cream for night time after having used this. The cream seemed to absorb more easily and it was nice to wake up not looking like a member of KISS.

I will definitely keep this as a bottle on  my dressing table, and will certainly replenish it when its gone.

Now this is clever…nobody should be without one in my view.  Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Corrector Pen

“Smile, it’s Simple. Our Eye Make-up Corrector Pen is the perfect tool to easily remove eye make-up mistakes, even waterproof mascara. The precision tip allows you to correct mistakes leaving the rest of your make-up untouched. Enriched with vitamin goodness the non greasy formula will also care for the skin around the delicate eye area. Perfect for even sensitive skin. With vitamin goodness for naturally healthy skin”

This pen is so easy to use, and so obviously useful that I cant believe I havent had one before. Small enough to take out in your purse or bag, it really can be used so easily to remove those mistakes you make when putting your eye make up on.

I dont know about you but I dont have a very steady hand when applying my liquid eyeliner, and this is the perfect solution to the problem. Use it exactly like a pen, go over the bit that is wrong, and its gone. Keep wiping the end to ensure it doesnt get dirty, and keep the lid on, and it seems to go on forever!

SO, there you go…my review of the items that SIMPLE let me have to try.

I will definitely be keeping them to use again, and will be investing in other things that I have seen from their website.

Not terribly expensive, and so gentle to use, I cant see why anyone wouldnt want to try these things.

What do you think?

What creams and potions do you use and how do you rate them?
